He took money from me and disappeared. Fake shipping site .. Ordered using bitcoin (cash into a Bitcoin ATM), claimed to be out of Denver, Colorado. Agreed to halve the fee of $778 USD so that the second half would be payable upon receipt. Substance was not delivered, but I received a fake-sounding notification from a “shipping logistics company” saying I needed to pay $2,500 of which 95% would be returned to me upon delivery, to release the package from customs since “it had been discovered the package contained an illegal substance.” That’s when the penny dropped for me. Smooth scammer. I found the scammer on an online discussion of suicide on Quora. They had an image displaying their email address.
